I've considered watching this movie recently and last night I decided to give it a go.
As another reviewer commented "it was relentlessly raw, authentic and sad" I struggled to keep watching.
It was so authentic I could imagine some evil minded person getting a few free lessons on how to abduct, manipulate and control others.
It was well acted and believable and it made me feel ill. Plus the reality that this is happening even as I watched.
Abduction, sexual exploitation and slavery are happening everyday and making a movie like this one, even though it was realistic made me squirm. For people with mental illness and even just evil thinking, this movie could open up a can of worms in their minds.
It definitely was not uplifting and it worries me what sort of human would be watching it.
