Well, we did not have to wait until the season finale to find out what the opening scene from the premiere was about. That was a little bit of a shock as usually they tease something and don't address it again until the finale, so having that resolved and wrapped up in episode three was a bit of a shock, but a welcome shock for sure.
This show has strong sense of purpose, they know what they are hoping to accomplish, but there is also just an overwhelming sense of wasted time. You cannot just rely on images of the old west and these expensive towns that they built as sets to hook viewers in forever.
