Gotham Girls (2000–2002)
7/10
The 'forgotten' DCAU show

Gotham Girls is a series of web shorts produced by Warner Bros from 2000 to 2002 (three seasons of 10 episodes each), focusing on the female superheroes and supervillains of Gotham City. Every episode features Batgirl, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and Catwoman. Recurring characters include Zatanna, Renee Montoya, and the only prominent male character, Commissioner Jim Gordon.

All episodes of the first two seasons are self-contained and very comedic, whilst the third season shifts to a more serious tone, and tells a connecting story (around 30 mins long in all) about the mysterious disappearance of every male in Gotham City, and how Batgirl, Harley, Ivy, and Catwoman put aside their differences and work together to solve the mystery and bring the men back. The show is set firmly in the DCAU, with the same distinctive character designs and general art style, with several BTAS/TNBA voice actors reprising their roles,

Tara Strong - Batgirl, Arleen Sorkin - Harley Quinn, Diane Pershing - Poison Ivy, Adrienne Barbeau - Catwoman (Barbeau also takes over the role of Renee Montoya), and Bob Hastings - Commissioner Gordon

The first two seasons range from mildly amusing to occasionally laugh-out-loud, whilst the third is pretty gripping and wouldn't have felt out of place in BTAS/TNBA. All the returning voice actors are note-perfect, and the supporting cast do a fine job. 7.5/10.
