The BEST film about Custer's Last Stand and it is not even close
23 January 2023
There have been many films, tv shows, and documentaries about the Battle of the Little Bighorn that have been made over the last century, however, none of them have been made with as much care about historical accuracy than Chris Hoffert's "Custer's Strategy of Defeat". Not only is the film very historically accurate, but it is also very historically authentic as well. The film is unbiased and chooses not to take anyone's side when covering the events of the Little Bighorn.

There are some historical inaccuracies as well as some errors with authenticity; however, these are not big enough to be a major problem. The film is extremely entertaining and well acted despite being made up of mostly reenactors and local and small time actors.

The only issue that I have with the film is with the saturation of the film. The low saturation makes the film seem too dark during some scenes, but this is just a nitpick of mine and doesn't affect my enjoyment of the film.

'Custer's Strategy of DEfeat is not only the best western of 2022, but it is the best film that I have seen in a long while, and is much better than Hollywood in my opinion. Do yourse;f a favor and look up this docudrama and please watch it. You won't be disappointed. For once, George Armstrong Custer is portrayed as a normal human being rather than as a villain. .
