It's a really nice romantic storyline. It has glorious life-lessons. Don't chase money. Chase happiness. Oddly it's set in one of the most capitalistic cities in the universe.
Cage is fantastic. He's not his typical action-hero role but he's a deep emotional person trying to survive as a NYC PD with BAGGAGE as a wife.
His partner is excellent too. Wendell Pierce in an early movie and showing his promise as a Hollywood heavyweight.
Bridget Fonda steals the show. Her acting and grace and cinematic elegance leaves you wanting more. The romance sequences are utterly charming and charismatic.
This film shows to do good deeds and good charity. You will be rewarded in kind. It's an important message for anyone and something which is not done enough in today's aggressive capitalistic markets.
