Why is this still being made? How has it survived so long? Fair City must be the most amateurly acted and poorly written show that has managed to survive for so long.
It beggers belief that anyone actually watched this, even cast are perpurted to call it 'fairly sh**ty' yet RTE still seem to foster this muck on us year after year. I don't think any of the actors have ever gone on to do anything substantial.
Which makes it worse as RTE axed a popular show that Gabriel Byrne, Colin Farrel to name two started on. Unfortunately RTE didn't like the idea of making a well written show so that was axed and this muck was fostered on our screens.
