I would've liked to see a Season 2.

No Game, No Life is an anime with an interesting premise, a unique dynamic between the two protagonists, and a whole world to work with. Unfortunately, it seems after it's first 13 episodes in 2014, this show has already been cancelled. I hope they are able to one day continue making it, and I saw there was a movie taking place in the same world that came out, so I'm interested to check it out. This show was also surprisingly very funny, and knew how to play each character for humor.

As I mentioned, I think the 2 main characters are really interesting. Without spoiling anything, they dynamic they have together is really unique and something that I appreciated. The side characters here are a bit weak compared to ones I've seen in other amines, but they weren't bad by any means. The plot and world go together here and could've been really intriguing to explore, but sadly as I stated previously that won't be happening.

All that said, I did enjoy what we got with this show, I just wish it would've picked it up a bit. It really took its time episode to episode, often over explaining certain details. If the show had kept on going, this wouldn't have been as big of an issue, but seeing as that's not the case it does hurt it in the end.

I would recommend this show regardless as I believe it's only 13 episodes long, which isn't a large investment.
