This episode is a classic example of what Big Mouth does best, which is exploring sensitive/not usually talked about subjects by making them personified, talking, and from Long Island. It's fun to see the kids working their way through puberty in their own way, while supporting and helping each other. Three of the four stories end positively, with the kids talking and communicating with each other about what they do/don't want. Jessi's is the only story that really comes of negatively, with Michaelangelo trying to coerce her into doing something she doesn't really want to do. Wow, I reeeally didn't expect this kid to end up being a jerk. Big surprise.
