Infidelity dressed up as cute and quirky

Warning: Spoilers
This film is completely over rated (from what I've seen in articles and reviews). I watched the whole thing. I cannot get that time back.

I was intrigued because of the cast but ultimately it was flat because I felt nothing for the characters.

The main character is a confused woman who is easily seduced by a neighbor whom she met on a plane then takes a taxi back home with him.

Her husband is played by Seth Rogan and honestly, I'm tired of him playing love interests. I find him completely unattractive and also he's just a bad husband. Therefore, I don't feel sorry for him when she breaks his heart and leaves.

There is a running scene where she's in the shower and she feels cold water on her. The viewers can clearly see the water is coming from behind the curtain and not the shower head. Of course she continues to ask him to get it fixed but it never happens.

Later on, when she breaks up with him he tells her to take a shower and reveals it was him throwing cold water on her the entire time and meant to be a joke. We're supposed to feel bad for him, but I ended up feeling bad for her. She is obviously bothered by the cold water, so in her mind, her husband has been doing something to annoy her over and over again AND the problem never got "fixed".

The neighbor was an attractive guy, much more attractive than Rogan. The only thing interesting about him was the fact he had an interesting job (forgot the name of it though). But ultimately, she ends up getting bored with him too.

Throughout the film we see the main character (I can't even remember her name or be bothered to look it up) acting quirky and cute, like a little girl. Is this supposed to make us like her? Find her admirable? It didn't.

The supporting cast is boring too.

I would not recommend this movie to anyone.
