The Chew (2011–2018)
1/10
I am sooooo happy this got canceled!

I should've celebrated with a glass of something, since by 2018 I was 25 and therefore legally old enough to drink. The Chew was irritating. It was a bunch of adults acting like they were in middle school. They were loud and turned everything into a joke. Goodness forbid they saw a banana or a cucumber - that was when they really lost it. Dr. Oz's daughter is famous for no other reason besides their relation to each other. She looks exactly like him and it's unsettling. Clinton Kelly wasn't all that like-able. He seemed obnoxious and superficial. I think my negative perception of him came from What Not To Wear. He was too judgemental. I mean, some women do leave the house in sloppy looking outfits, but having an entire show revolve around pointing that out serves no purpose. Mario Batali came off like somewhat of a snob. Michael Symon had an imbecilic laugh. And to echo the sentiments of another reviewer, Carla Hall gave off witch vibes. I'm guessing the creators were trying to go for this laid back atmosphere by having people sit around a table eating and drinking. With a different group of people, it might've worked, but with this rag tag bunch it was just too silly.
