This is the opposite, polar opposite of a chick flick. There have been tons of movies where guys or gals rent a place for a bchelor or bacherlorette party....only to find a dead body. Very little texture, or deep development of the characters. Great casting, attractive, complex men and women.
Here we get 5 guys 30-ish, who decide to update (kinda) the premise of the apartment. Only its more like a clubhouse, where each guys demons are laid bare.
I can relate to the temptations, but this takes a turn towards American psycho. As you watch it, you'll have no idea, who dunnit. Or the twists that lie ahead.
9/10 for me. I suspect 8-ish for most men 30+. But, again my hunch is only some women, perhaps the confident, secure ones would enjoy it.
