The first act of this movie is so bland that I almost gave up on it. If you can push through the first 20 minutes, "Puss in Boots" is worth it. Once Humpty Dumpty joins the picture, the story finds its footing.
The backstory is strong and there are pretty funny moments, especially the one-liners. The pair of Jack and Jill are forgettable and some of the chase scenes are dull. When I look back on this movie, I tend forget the humor and actual narrative, which is unfortunate.
