Ava (Natalie Whittle) is attacked by a home intruder and loses her baby. A year later Ava has not gotten over it. Neil (Adam Burch), her husband plans a family retreat along with their smart alec teen son Dakota (Jerod Powers). The home is double booked and they opt to stay with a family who are their polar opposites. Papa G (John J. Pistone ) is a medically retired police officer. He is accompanied by his wife Barb (Mindy Montavon) and daughter Reagan (Taylor Joree Scorse). They do their best to not discuss politics but they do have some issues. Their location has a history of blood rituals After an exceeding long character build up we finally get to something that looks like "The Purge."
The film was exceedingly boring. The characters were awful. Hard to stay awake.
