Saint X on Hulu, Island of Temptation or Deception? Based on the best-selling novel by author Alexis Schaitkin, Saint X tries unsuccessfully to pull off the perfect adaptation of the literary title. What works in the novel, doesn't work in the show. While the number of timelines isn't a bad thing, the way they're laid out won't suit everyone. If, without being good or bad (more good), the show does not manage to offer a catchy scenario to the end of things, its actors will know how to make you stay. And what about the performance and ease of adaptation of Alycia Debnam-Carey (Emily) and Josh Bonzie (Clive) who totally stole the show. West Duchovny (Alison) and Jayden Elijah (Edwin) will also convince you.
