Conan the Adventurer (1997–1998)
4/10
He's Back! In his Own TV Series!!

Ralf Moeller prowls the screen like a cut-price Arnold Schwarzeneggar, confusing raggedy extras with his incomprehensible accent and never making contact with his plastic sword against any of the foes he supposedly 'dispatches'.

The (many) women he meets along the way he seduces through bravery, strength and baby oil alone, but most of them either end up dead or abandoned due to his ongoing quest to be some kind of 'king'. Like James Bond, Conan MUST remain single, free & virile.

Lots of slow-motion fights ahoy, some laughably dated CGI monsters and the same 'inspiring' music played again and again. If this sounds like your cup o' char, then REJOICE! There are at least 22 episodes of this standard formula to rock your furry loincloths to.

Sadly, it never made it to a second season. What a shame. I guess people preferred Conan as a 'Barbarian' to an "adventurer'. Philistines. 4/10.
