A King Sized Review Fit For A King

Warning: Spoilers
The musician biopic is one i've seen a lot of but there has never been truly one about Elvis, okay there have been a few ones about the King over the years but this one is truly the most spectacular one of them all, mainly because it stands out from other biopics. This one is pretty much follows the life of the music legend and is dead accurate in a lot of ways, and also has an unique style to it. Of course you don't need me to tell how great Elvis was. Austin Butler is perfection, he got the mannerisms down pat and I have to say I love Tom Hanks's scene stealing performance as Colonel Parker, and the touches like his accent (of course if you knew about the actual colonel, you'd know he was dutch) and the amazing makeup look throughout. Austin also looked and sounded a lot like Elvis, and the use of actual Elvis clips/interviews at the end was a genius touch.

I like how they talked about his movie career and also the comeback special and how Parker wanted it originally to be a Christmas special but Elvis was against the idea because he was being pushed as a family entertainer when that wasn't who he was.
