No offense to any who genuinely like this film it's just atrocious. It's an excuse to take DC characters kicking and screaming into the modern age; giving a sense of contemporary relevancy. But is quite the opposite the audience was there just too much of an emphasis on pop music. It felt akin to a music video at times. This was the film's ultimate detriment IM0. Ayer isn't untalented and neither are the cast something just got fouled up along the way. No idea why. The ending is also the quintessential trope of stopping the big blue energy beam shooting out of the planets core which is very underwhelming and not even eradicated in a creative fashion.
