Devdas is a period drama film directed by Bimal Roy. The film stars Late Dilip Kumar, Late Suchitra Sen, Vyjayanthimala, Late Motilal, Late Nazir Hussain, Late Murad and Late Iftekhar.

The best part of this film is it's fitting and superb star cast and mesmerizing execution. Dilip Kumar looked perfect in the role of Devdas, the way he speaks and his dialogue delivery looked so natural Suchitra Sen and Vyjayanthimala were also so perfect in their characters as it seems that the role were tailor-made for them. The Cameos of Pran Sahab and Jhonny Walker worked as icing on the cake.
Screenplay of the film is gripping and music by the great SD Burman is superb. The climax of the film is also very nice and gives a superb and realistic closure to the film.
If you are looking for more of a realistic and natural looking Devdas then this is the film for you. A Must watch.
