The film centers on the Russo family living in the Queens. There are always family get togethers. They celebrate everything. Matthew "Sticks" Russo is a senior who plays basketball. He has anxiety issues. He is quiet and reserved. The plan is for him to work for the Russo family construction company. Andie, the mom (Laurie Metcalf) is a cancer survivor. She is very controlling of her son. A chance for a scholarship at Drexel throw a wrench in the family plans. Leo, the dad, (Ray Romano) wants his son to go. He quotes "Rocky" a lot. The film was well acted . I did not find it overly entertaining to watch a film about people with anxiety disorders trying to get their life together.
