Tonally it was not where I expected it to be. I thought it was going to be a light-hearted movie about some witches who wanted to find love...but it was so filthy it threw me off...but I embraced it all.
I embraced it all because of the great cast. Susan Sarandon, Michelle Pfeiffer and Cher are very and unexpectedly hot here Jack Nicholson so diabolical and charming at the same time, a role perfectly written for him. And I didn't expect George Miller as the director but I kinda see his hand in this...the tonal shifts are him.
Double bill this with "Death Becomes Her" and you have a great all night.
