This clearly didn't make me change my mind about comic books. They are for little boys, who then grow up, and get nostalgic. Every aspects of this two hours special was corny as hell. From the opening scene, it didn't feel like a Smallville episode I would enjoy. And the few times I was invested in the story, was when the regulars showed up to explain how on earth these random characters were introduced. The special effects were ok, but the actors looked ridiculous in those costumes. And the cheesy dialogues, fry voice... I laughed more than I actually should've. What was Pam Grier doing here? Though her character was the mastermind behind the killings, she was no more than a talking cameo. I think season 9 might be my least favorite of the series.
