Martha's return could only mean one thing...

Warning: Spoilers
Now I see why I'm not on board with Lois and Clark. They simply rushed things too much between them this season. They should've had her date John Corben a while, break up with him, because she was secretly in love with the blur. And keep hers and Clark's frolicking, for their workplace drama. Which is exactly how the way their relationship was planned this season, felt. Before changing gears, and have them officially dating each other instead. And the fact that it made Lois act very out of character, and simply mimicking how Clark and Lana's relationship would've evolved, makes it even more disingenuous and hard to get into. They also messed up big time, making everything Krypton mystery free, to focus more on the messy Kandorian drama. Things I liked about this episode though, were Gil Bellows return. And those revelations regarding both Martha and Perry White, which once again showed how complex dynamics got over the years. One thing I regret as well, regarding the « adulthood years » in general, was how they completely missed the opportunity to have at least one crossover episode with Birds of Prey. As both shows feel very tonally similar, lately. Chloe's all high and mighty « I'm watchtower » attitude, is really getting on my nerves too.
