Attila Korosi's debut feature film, Live and Die in East LA, to me is one of the most remarkable film debuts there is in terms of direction and as an overall film.
Visually the film is very well made and edited. Acting is very good and natural. The story structure is non linear but it was very compelling and easy to follow. There was a reoccurring animation that was just wonderful and it helped to tie the story together. The film is appealing through different generations, my whole family enjoyed it.
The film impressed the hell out of me. It is a life changing experience. I'm looking forward to what the director does next.
