Continuing my plan to watch every movie in Denzel Washington's filmography I come to 1989's GLORY.
Glory is one of the best movie of a great year. It's amazingly acted, brilliantly directed with an amazing score by Hanz Zimmer.
I defy anyone not to be touched by the movies finale. I honestly can't pick any faults with the movie.
Denzel deservedly won an Oscar and Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for his work in Glory
The movie also won Oscar's for Best Cinematography and Best Sound.
But where were the nominations for Best Film, Best Director for Edward Zwick, Best Original Score for Hans Zimmer or what about Broderick and Freeman??
Glory grossed just under $27 million against an $18 million budget to be the years 45th highest grossing movie.
