I think as soon as we found out Ben was alive we knew another "twist" was going to come and he was going to end up dead. Still, this does present an interesting dynamic and I think that they have set the stage for a really good season of the show.
Meryl Streep will be a great addition to the cast, but her comedy feels a little bit forced and fake right now. I am not sure what the direction for her character is, but I hope it is not the obvious route of being a romantic partner for Oliver.
Mabel needs some serious direction too and not a repeat of the mess of storylines she had the last season.
