This series is freaking wild man and I am calling it right now the producers or whoever wrote this series should never make moral decisions of right and wrong.
If you have a violent partner and they violently attack you then self defense can be excused. If you have an unfaithful spouse then divorce is an option. If your kids gets taken from you then make the best visiting hours deal that you can.
But using your kid to justify taking a life that is not justice that is self-serving revenge covered in a blanket of moral righteousness. If you can do that then you can justify anything like say: let's never release criminals from prison because if they did it once then they could do it again. How is that righteousness? Well, we are protecting all the victims and any would-be repeating offender they would make.
And we aren't even mentioning her skills in animal processing... you know what I mean...
