"A Weak Link" is not a weak NCIS case. It's just yet another okay episode in this fine season.
Let's start with the good aspects, shall we?
. The production values of the episode are great as usual. The direction's decent, the music fits the scenery. Out of the passable guest stars, Julie Benz fares the best.
. Parts of the story intrigue. The humor is suitably wry. Did not mind the subplot about Mcgee and Abby.
But...
. The dialogue is not always thought-provoking. The case is shallow with bland characters and I did feel the story dragging at times. The mystery could have benefited from few twists and turns. The solution needed more explanation too.
Overall, a flawed one.
5/10 HK.
