Intresting take on the oft told tale of Bram Stoker's DRACULA with this adaptation of the chapter of the captain's log of the titular vessel carrying its lethal cargo to London with a doomed crew and passenger in deep water perils with the nosferatu. Swiftly directed by Andre Ovredal and a solid screenplay by Bragi F. Schut & Zak Olkewica makes an affective horror fim replete with a superb score by Bear McCreary, dank cinematography by the team of Roman Osin and Tom Stern, top notch production design by Edward Thomas and particularly Goran Lundstrom's make-up design in the creation of his truly heinous monster.
