If one is looking for a movie that rips off about every shark movie out there, this will be a movie for you. Even saying "we need a bigger helicopter" and then using some music from Star Wars. Samuel Lewis pretty well runs the town and intends to foreclose on Dag Snerensen's ocean side aquarium, to put a hotel there, in cahoots with mob figures. As far as the acting, I feel the one seal from the aquarium did a better job than most of the cast. And the terrible script along with wooden delivery. There are shark kills, but naturally there is a planned regatta set, and it must take place. So the police chief assure residents that there will be 100% protection. The sloppy goofs are almost too much to list. There is an injury in the afternoon, but the ambulance doesn't arrive at the hospital until dark. That has to be some ride! And Gloria Lewis gets locked into her room, but why does she have a picture of President Bush on her wall? There is just so much that is predictable. If they set out to make an absolutely terrible picture ripping off other movies, then give it a lot of stars. Unfortunately, one has to sit through the movie to see how bad it is.
