I laughed my ass off at the absurdity of mixing Back to the Future & Halloween! Even the date she goes back to almost same date October 27th instead of the 26th. I though the 80s were done ok, not over the top but could have done better. Scream also plays into this as the original killer is killed but the guy who kills her mom is from the past but kills her mom in the present. You'll get it, believe me it's not rocket science. You'll enjoy this especially if you were in high school or barely out in 1987 as I was 19. I thoroughly enjoyed this parody and it's certainly better that Riverdale, whom she co starred on as Sabrina the Teen Aged Witch. I would wait til it costs $3, don't waste any more than that. I hope you get a good laugh like I did!
