This movie is average at best. They tried to make it fun by mixing classic 80s slasher movies with wholesome 80s movies such as Back to the Future but the execution fails.
The 80s weren't that bad. It makes 80s kids seem like Neanderthals who had no idea of political awareness and how everything was so messed up. Smoking in cars, calling kids fat, popular kids poking fun at other kids, the list goes on.
80s kids got it all wrong and only this generation can save them seems to the message. It's a bit misguided and seems like Gen Z person wrote the script.
