I am a huge fan of the Mario franchise and have been for as long as I can remember and Super Mario Galaxy and SMB Galaxy 2 have always been my favourite game(s) in the series. However with the release of Super Mario Bros. Wonder puts my favour to the galaxy games into question. Wonder performs a long needed overhaul of the 2D Mario formula presenting to us tons of unique worlds, levels, enemies, challenges, badges, concepts and more. Wonder is a game full of surprises and fun and is a game that will constantly leave you impressed with the constant flow of new things, sure there are some reused aspects but the way those aspects are reused keep everything fresh and fun! The only complaint I have is the lack of unique bosses but since everything else is so unique and interesting I don't mind. Overall Super Mario Bros. Wonder is an excellent platformer that I could recommend to anyone!
