I have been watching all of the Bond movies in order on Prime. Boy is it hard going
Sean Connery ones are over rated and very much of their time. Sexist, racist, mysoginistic. Roger Moore merely continues more of the same but with a feminine touch, he is so camp
Of its time, the fight scenes were poor, the stunts just as bad.
I know its a Bond film and you have to take your brain out and enjoy it for waht it is but this is beyond parody But TSWLM takes things to a new level with the calibre of acting. Moore is soo camp he would would give Butlins a run for their money. Barbara Bach is beautiful however she is more wooden than a shop full of planks.
The Jaws character is just stupidity personified , dont worry he gets even worse in Moonraker The plot what little there is of it is basically a rehash of most of the other plots from earlier films.
Camera work and scenry is overall decent, title song arguably one of the best bond songs Only 4 stars and that is mainly for the song and the scenery. If you are watching for even half decent acting give this wide berth. Barbara Bach is simply beyond dreadful Its amazing that in about 10 years when Timothy Talton took over the marked increase in standard between fight scenes and the stunts.
