Another good change-of-pace episode in Season 4-- that spoofs Desilu's THE UNTOUCHABLES complete with Robert Stack, Bruce Gordon, Steve London and Walter Winchell.
This is one of the rare times that Lucille Ball actually plays a different character rather than just hiding behind some sort of disguise. Here she goes undercover as Rusty Martin, a cheap bimbo and gangster's main squeeze, with whom she shares an uncanny resemblance. Ball looks like she's really enjoying herself singing "My Heart Belongs to Daddy".
During filming, Lucy tried to "direct" Mr. Stack on how to better play a character he had been doing for years. He politely basically told her to butt out.
The episode ends with a rarity: Lucy breaks the fourth wall and talks directly to the camera. This is much better than the Spy spoof that was done earlier in the season "Lucy the Undercover Agent".
