Kim's school project on the impracticality of teen marriage has Lucy erroneously assuming her daughter is planning to elope.
This episode seems very padded with things that are unrelated to the main plot. Craig spends a lot of time in a scuba outfit, and there is an extended office scene with the usual bluster from Harry and fluster from Lucy.
The script also insults the audience's intelligence by having Kim re-iterate the plot in voiceover.
The funniest part is when Lucy says of Kim "When I get my hands on her, I'll break her neck!". The times they are a-changing! We never would have heard a line like this on THE LUCY SHOW about Chris just a few years earlier.
Right after that, Lucy throws out a phrase from her Monday night competitor LAUGH-IN when she says "Here come da judge!". Viewers under 50 likely will not appreciate the joke, though.
Lucy drags Harry down to the marriage license bureau and when some wiseguy calls her a "kooky redhead", he and Harry proceed to rip each other's clothes off, which is an odd choice of combat.
Kim's project partner is supposed be a high school-aged grocery box-boy but resembles Ken Berry and looks about 30 years old!
