Sad end of Indiana Jones
1 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
It had some good moments but I couldn't feel the energy that Spielberg was bringing in. The CGI scenes at the beginning was cool and disturbing at the same time. Be careful with that technology, it can do more damage than joy.

The story line wasn't too bad, but the execution made me feel I'm watching a mix of Indiana Jones, James Bond and Tomb Raider all in one movie.

I understand the need to have a female hero characters, but that Wombat girl was way too much for my taste.

I understand the need to include black actors, bug I did not understand the inclusion of the black woman-agent - she was lacking to fit in the story. I couldn't even understand who's she and what she's fighting for. Before I found out, she got killed. End of a character. Totally unneeded one.

I understand the need to include high energy chases, but that chase with the small cars and then fixing it to continue moving - was bit unconvincing and ridiculous.

Harrison Ford is 80 years old, why pushing him to play in a movies where you're gonna destroy its iconic characters???

First was Han Solo, now Indiana Jones?? Why you're doing this, WHY???

I would've been absolutely thrilled if they let Indy stay in the past, that'd be the best ending ever, plus it was opening so many doors for future movies! Just think about it!!

But noo, Lara Croft had to punch the old man in the face and ruin the joy. Didn't even show how they managed to return back to their time with that small plane, "ran out of film" or what?

There was too many bad scenes and lack of humor and acting, for a Indiana Jones movie. Saying this as a 50 y.o. Who grew up with Indiana Jones and Star Wars, and for that reason I feel very sorry for this sad ending of Indy franchise.

But... They've killed Han Solo... They've killed James Bond... They've killed the Terminator... They've killed the Aliens... They've killed the Predator... So it's kinda good they let Indy live, at least...

What a sad generation of movie creators.... What a sad years for movie fans.... What a good years for movie critics....
