When I first watched What if... S1, I really liked the idea of exploring universes where choices would be different than the main MCU timeline choices. There were hit or miss episodes, but overall I liked it.
So when I finally watched the first episode from Season 2, my thoughts were that it is better than Captain Carter episode from Season 1. I like that Nebula took redemption after she was give a chance from Super Nova after Ronan betrayed Thanos.
My main criticisms are that Super Nova being twist-villain doesn't make sense since it feels out of character and they let the story to ride quickly without giving a breathing room, especially with Nebula and her team in the end of episode. I wished they would add more time for that team, but overall it's a decent start.
