Maestro 2023. Bradley Coopers master classic of acting in his study of Leonard Bernstein. If you have a vague recollection of Bernstein from interviews on talk shows and his photograph from his vast catalogue of music mostly on Deutch Grammophone from the 1970's you'll know that his recreation is spot on. I know there's been controversy of a none Jewish man playing Berstein and his wearing a prosthetic nose,what a ludicrous thing to say. Cooper looks so much like him anyway and the make up and his acting add to the sense of realism. Is the film any good. Its great but hardly essential and Cooper and Carey Mulligan both excell and are worthy Oscar nominess.
