The Assistant U. S. Attorney Zoe Landau invites her ex-husband, Dr. Lightman, to help in the investigation of an arson case. The victim Frank Ambrose accuses the TV reporter Jack Garcia based on the statement of his son A. J. Cal investigates the Ambrose family and finds a case of infidelity of Cheryl Ambrose and Jack Garcia. However, when a second arson case happens, the line of investigation changes. Meanwhile Dr. Foster and Torres investigate with Detective Riley a murder case of the rapper Dante Edwards that might be related to the rapper Caden. The gangs are rival, and the lead suspect is Caden. However, Caden denies, and Torres sees regret on his face. His cousin tells them that Caden and Dante grew-up together. They also provide alibi to each other, but the investigation proceeds.
