There are many cartoon Halloween specials on stream and DVD, and Scared Shrekless are one of the better. Shrek and his friends spends Halloween night in Lord Faarquad abandoned castle where none have been inside for ages, and they have an tell your scary tale challenge in the dark and quiet castle. There is the usual retro spoofs, but they are not annoying and it can be a good idea to have parents watch this with their younger ones. Amin Jensen the Danish comedian and singer dubs Shrek. This short did not win the Academy Award for best short, but this is just some eerie and also heartwarming short entertainment when you want some Halloween stuff all year round.
