The worst
27 January 2024
Whoever wrote this had no clue, whatsoever, how the story of Queen Esther goes. Esther is a pathetic gossiping girl. The makeup artist drenched her in gobs of makeup - it isn't subtle, modest, or even demure.

Back to the writer though. Esther marrying the king is presented as an uncle's scheme to get his niece into the king's bed rather than the edict it was for the young girls available for marriage to be made ready to be presented to the king for his choice to be made. The Jewish people are presented as gossiping, calculating, and scheming people - the same as the original villain, Haman. Esther is shallow and shows no humility - she disrespects her uncle right to his face. This is absolutely horrible, we couldn't even finish it.
