I'm sure this movie scored better in 1987 than now. There's nothing wrong with the acting though. Debra Winger and Theresa Russell were good in their performances so nothing bad to write about them, nor about the rest of the cast. It's just the story, it's a bit too predictable. I wasn't surprised by anything in this story. It just lacked a bit of suspense and wasn't really thrilling. Film Noir is just not my cup of tea. It always lacks of action, a faster pace would only benefit this kind of movies. I'm sure I liked it better when it came out, when we didn't have that much choices in movies. Nowadays we're a bit spoiled and almost everything about movies is better. It's watchable but I've seen better same stories.
