This was recommended by Netflix as a twisty thriller- it is not. It is an overrated, overly long and boring Lifetime movie. Maybe if they had made her boyfriend her rapist and she set him up just to kill him, or the boyfriend raped her friend years ago and they plot to kill him. Instead she, a rape victim, killed her boyfriend who was a raping her best friend. Maybe something got lost in the translation. But I finished it hoping it would get better or would have an unexpected twist; it did not. I guess we were supposed to see the effect and trauma of rape and what can happen when it is not reported. That is a powerful statement that the movie attempted to make. But there were no twists, turns, or thrills. Just a boring drama that included a murder.
