The story flashes back to where the characters lives were in the year 2007.
This is a strong episode with an enjoyable premise and humour.
Whenever BoJack Horseman does a retrospective episode it is usually very good and this one did not disappoint me. I like how, as always, the writers go hilariously over-the-top when spoofing the time period. There are plenty of good visuals, sounds and lines of dialogue on this theme that work well.
The general storyline for each character is pretty good and all have standout moments. BoJack's is the strongest for the simple fact we know the outcome of 'The BoJack Horseman Show' and it feels unsurprising considering of dodgy they make it sound during conception. Being a Soprano's fan I also enjoyed the references to its final episode and their humorous take on the famous cut to black.
I think the banter is consistently strong throughout the episode and plenty of lines are memorable.
