Steel Frontier, the best Mad Max movie that has nothing to do with Mad Max!

PM Entertainment, the production company known for blowing stuff up, does a great job crafting this post apocalyptic futuristic western, I know...that's a lot of genres. Joe Lara stars as the lone gunman Yuma who gets captured and brought into a town that's been overtaken by a band of hooligans, led by General J. W. Quantrell, played by the great Brion James.

The story follows Yuma as he's now allowed to move about town, falling in love with Sarah, played by the magnificent Staci Foster. The local band of misfits don't mix well with this drifter and aim to set him straight! Other color characters include Charlie Bacchas (Jim Cody Williams), his unforgettable sidekick Chickenboy (Brian Huckeba), Evermore (Star Trek TNG's Robert O'Reilly), and Deacon (Adolfo Quinones). The movie also stars Bo Svenson of Walking Tall fame and Kane Hodder, better known to his horror fans as Jason Vorhees from the Friday the 13th franchise.

In a clever story written by Jacobsen Hart who also co-directed the film with the multi-talented Paul Volk, this film shoots and blows it's way all the way to the finish in an epic conclusion. If you love these types of films, check out Steel Frontier.
