Shake Hands With The Devil displays how little first world countries care about third world countries that suffer from horrendous conflicts. How unless there is something that benefits these governments, they don't care to intervene or help. All throughout the movie I feel frustration that nothing is being done to help people.

Roy Depuis plays as General Romeo Dallaire excellently, his acting on spot and doing justice thee General. All the actors, really. Every one does a great job displaying the horrific acts that occurred during the Rwandan genocide.

The plot was excellent as well, you could really see how things escalated in the tragedy. The way the film is formatted also really helps to show how things went down during the issue, and not a moment is wasted either, every scene carrying its importance throughout the movie.

I enjoyed this movie a lot, personally I think it ended too early.
