This game.
So I started playing this after DS1, Elden Ring, and Sekiro, so I am not particularly new to the souls formula, and this game was not too dissimilar. The combat felt great, and the bosses were fun, but there was one thing that really ruined it for me: the Shrine of Amana. This game would have been so much more fun if not for this area. I could not make it through, and it's a mandatory area, which makes it so much worse. While most other things in this game are great, I would like you to take into consideration the mental pain you might put yourself through. The game is certainly worth it, but this one part kind of ruins it for me. I've actually stepped away from this game fora bit specifically because of this. Just keep this in mind. I really didn't have to write this review, I just needed to get the frustration off my chest, and possibly warn you of what you're getting into.
