The majority of people on here giving this a negative view are not long term fans of the show. They came to watch during s6 following an actor to the show and expected him to be Elizabeth's final choice. When the show broke up Elizabeth and Lucas they got mad and threw a tantrum and are now leaving bad reviews. They could care less about the true canon and history of the series. If you are a true fan of Jeanette Oke's books then you will like the series.
