So this was a great show on Adult Swim for the better part of a decade, that was followed by a so-so musical special and then whatever this was supposed to be. I get that the musical portions of this movie are technically profound and such but this movie was just extremely boring. The whole movie and basically the whole series is a bunch of background characters talking in vagary. There is no humor and a significant amount of Nathan talking about a character that wasn't all that interesting in the series. It's like an hour of setup , following literally a whole series worth of setup for you guessed it a death metal song and some random stuff happening on screen. It's like when they write this show they have half an idea and instead of completing it they play a song and do the same thing again over and over. If you liked the series check it out, but don't expect any humor or entertainment, there is none to be found.
