There are confrontations all over the place in this one. It begins when Maurice gets into it with Holling who has found a new friend in Dr. Capra. They go once a week to a sauna and Holling and the Doc are working, building a boat. Maggie's mother shows up, wanting to plan the wedding which is not going to happen because Joel is off in the wilderness. Walt goes to work for Ruth Ann and screws up her system. Maggie's mom had brought a new guy with her, but he dies draped over a pool table. And in a dramatic moment, Maurice and Holling go at each other. It's one encounter after another. Also, Maggies starts to believe that her tendency to kill boyfriends can be attributed to her mother. Not a horrible episode but a bit contrived.
